Juventus prepared to offer €6 million salary and key role to Barcelona superstar
Robert Lewandowski continues to mull over his future, aware that he must soon decide whether to accept the renewal offer from FC Barcelona or embark on a new adventure, whether in Serie A in Italy, Major League Soccer in the US, or Saudi Arabia. newsindata.com
Barcelona are believed to have presented him with a one-year renewal offer with reduced financial terms and a secondary role in the team, even though some reports refute these claims.
Juventus make their move
Now, according to Tuttosport (h/t SPORT), Serie A heavyweights Juventus have made their move to try and convince Lewandowski to join them in the summer.
The 37-year-old striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is expected to meet the Bianconeri officials in the coming days to hear their proposal.
According to the report, the offer would guarantee Lewandowski an annual salary of €6 million, plus bonuses, and a key role in the team as the main striker for Luciano Spalletti.
The Polish striker’s initial preference was to remain in Barcelona, but it is not easy for him to accept conditions that would see his fixed salary reduced by half and depend on performance-related bonuses.

From a sporting perspective, it would also mean accepting that he is no longer indispensable for Hansi Flick.
Lewandowski is also aware that Barcelona’s renewal offer is final and will not be improved, as the club intends to enter the transfer market this summer to strengthen the attack. If he leaves, the club would gain greater financial flexibility.
Other options
Beyond Barcelona and Serie A, Lewandowski has long received lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, although he has not seriously considered them so far.
He has also received an approach from Chicago Fire FC, who are willing to make him the franchise player of their project with a contract worth €20 million per year until 2028.
These alternatives are highly attractive financially, but they do not satisfy the sporting ambition of a player who still wants to compete in Europe’s top leagues.
Juventus believe they can meet Lewandowski’s sporting expectations, even if their financial offer is lower than those from other markets. Moreover, it would still improve upon Barcelona’s proposal, both economically and in terms of his role within the team.
The discussions in the coming weeks will define his future.
NFL mock draft 2026 from ESPN has Jeremiyah Love to a surprise team
As of publishing this, we're now one day away from knowing who's going in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. And that means we'll finally find out the landing spot for the talented Jeremiyah Love.
So many mocks have the Notre Dame running back going in the top 10, but how high? Our latest NFL mock draft from Christian D'Andrea has him at No. 7 to the Washington Commanders. But in the latest ESPN mock draft from Peter Schrager, he's got an intriguing pick at No. 3 for the Arizona Cardinals: He's got Love heading to the desert.
Here's his reasoning for the pick:
This could be a trade-down spot, and I believe Arizona is listening. Teams like the Chiefs and Saints could have interest in getting into position to take Reese. But I also think the Cardinals could just take Love. Again, forget about positional value this year -- most people see him as the top player in the draft, and he could be a jolt to the Cards' offense. Love moves the needle for a team trying to get back in the mix in a crowded NFC West.
Fascinating! Make sure to check out the latest mock from D'Andrea!

Chelsea Women to make Stamford Bridge permanent home
Chelsea Women will make Stamford Bridge their permanent home in 2026/2027.
The Blues announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
Chelsea will play all of their Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures at The Bridge next season, along with any UEFA Women’s Champions League ties in the League Phase.
The move brings to an end the team’s long stay at Kingsmeadow, although the venue may continue to be used for cup fixtures where ticket demand is low.
Speaking following this morning’s announcement, Chelsea boss Sonia Bompastor said “We are privileged to be involved in women’s football, to see thousands of our incredible supporters following us and being a part of our lives. We will always feel a special connection to Kingsmeadow and everything our fans, staff and local community have helped create for us to stand here now, committing our future to Stamford Bridge. The squad, and every player to have pulled on a Chelsea shirt before them, has worked so hard for this as has every member of staff to stand on the sidelines.
“We can’t wait to welcome you in September, and to provide a stadium that helps us as we write the next chapter for this amazing club. It’s an exciting opportunity for us to keep growing, to perform at the highest level and to create a special atmosphere in a stadium we all love.”
Chelsea continue their season with a Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at Everton on Sunday.
