Misunderstood by many, says Prithvi Shaw’s fiancée

A day after posting a cryptic message to her 3.1 million Instagram followers, suggesting that India batter Prithvi Shaw cheated on her, his fiancée Akriti Agarwal has now deleted the post and written another cryptic message, “Misunderstood by many.”

Social media was abuzz on Sunday with claims that the opener had cheated on Agarwal, after her social media post read: “I got cheated so many times, yet I never said a word. Still can’t believe that [this happened] after taking one step ahead. Everything is true, every rumour is true, what you see on social media about him.” On Monday though, Agarwal deleted the post and wrote, “Misunderstood by many.” michezonews.co.za

Contrary to rumours, the couple are still following each other on social media and Agarwal has not deleted her posts regarding their engagement. This has left fans confused about the status of the couple, who got engaged in March. “Is it true that you got cheated,” one of Agarwal’s followers wrote to her. Another concerned follower added: “You deserve better. If he doesn’t respect you now, he never will. ”

Novak Djokovic opened up about what Wimbledon means to him and the legacy he has created in the sport.

While speaking on JioStar, he expressed his admiration for Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli and his desire to visit India.

“I would love to play some cricket and tennis with Virat Kohli. I am planning to visit India in the near future, and we have been communicating about it. I know Virat is a global star, but especially in India, he is incredible. I would love for him to be my host and show me around. I have a lot of respect for him and for Indian cricket. Cricket is not big in Serbia, where I come from. But some of the people in my team are British, and they love cricket. So I have been learning about the game over the last 10 to 15 years. I still need to work on my cricketing skills. Maybe Virat can help me with my technique and bat swing. But seriously, I have great respect and admiration for him. Youngest Indian to debut

At 15 years and 99 days, Sooryavanshi became the youngest Indian ever to play international cricket when he was named in the playing eleven for the second T20I against England last week. “He was set to debut from the point he came into the team; there is no such thing that he was ready [for his debut only] in the last match,” Kotak told reporters on the eve of the third T20I against England. “For us, it was all about his game, his instincts and the way he plays, and the way he has played all along to get till this point, he should continue playing that,” Kotak added.

Meanwhile, selectors left out Sanju Samson from India’s squad for the three T20Is in Zimbabwe. India will play three T20s on July 23, 25 and 27 in Harare.
